I Was A Leader In the Workshop on Deafness
Good evening ladies and gentlemen. When I went to college at NTID/RIT, I worked as a leader in the Workshop on Deafness. Helen hired me back in 1983 and I really enjoyed this job. We would go out to the community and give speeches to hundreds on what it was like to be deaf. I was also in the newspaper when I taught sign language to the wegman's employees.
