Lady At Hair Salon Didn't Know I Was Deaf

  1. When I was growing up I very rarely came across someone who was deaf, so it's a common thing that most people wouldn't know what to do if they did come into contact with a deaf person. At least the hairdresser tried to beckon you with her hands in order for you to understand her because some would still just try to talk to you even though you can't hear or clearly understand what they are trying to say.
When you go to the salon next time, maybe give them a quick lesson on how to say 'hello' etc in sign language, as it may get them more interested.

Susana, I first tried to leave you a comment on Bubblews but you had to first create an account there to leave comments, which I didn't want to, so I've left the above comment for you. Nice Post.

    1. That is okay, I do appreciate it that you took the time to read my article on Bubblews. Thank you very much for your wonderful feedback on this article, and I'm glad you liked it. :)
